Weapons & Props

When attending Geek Village events, it is essential to follow the weapons and props guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety and compliance with local regulations.

General Rules

  • Realistic imitation weapons:
Realistic imitation weapons and steel items, such as swords and katanas, are not permitted in public areas, including streets, metro stations, and both inside and outside the event venue. These items may be immediately confiscated by authorities.
  • Packaging Requirements:
Swords and katanas purchased at the event must remain in their original packaging until you reach home. If a vendor offers an item without packaging, do not accept it, as it may be confiscated upon leaving the venue or while in public areas.
  • Transporting Props
All props should be transported in closed bags to prevent misunderstandings and ensure safety.
  • Military Costumes:
Attendees wearing realistic military costumes must have a pre-purchased ticket to justify their attire. These costumes should not be worn outside the convention venue.
  • Packaging requirements:
Masks that cover part or all of the face are prohibited in metro stations, on the streets, and outside the venue. Masks are allowed inside the event after entry checks.
  • Always be respectful and considerate of others. Remember that not everyone outside the convention is familiar with cosplay or the event, and it is important not to cause unnecessary alarm.
